Reading/Writing/Spelling News

READING NEWS:

We will be continuing our research report reading workshop lessons. We will learn about becoming experts on shared nonfiction topics. We will also learn about pursuing collaborative inquiries with commitment.

WRITING NEWS:

We will be continuing our research report unit by creating some basic reports using graphic organizers to help get us used to imputing data and putting data in our own words. We will also start choosing what our subtopic headings will be for our very own nonfiction book.

SPELLING NEWS:

Spelling this week is adding –er, -est. Every child gets a hard copy of their spelling words each Monday to take home to study. Please double check to make sure that they have it in their take home folder.
